Privacy Policy
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE HOTEL:
A) The Hotel will provide the GUEST with the rental service of a room and its accessories, subject to payment of the fees and current prices at the time the service is provided. The applicable rate and plan are those indicated on the hotel registration card. The provision of these services will be subject to availability, schedules, shifts, or the physical availability of supplies, goods, facilities, or necessary spaces.
B) The Hotel displays the rates, service prices, and check-in and check-out times in a visible location, to which the GUEST must adhere.
C) The Hotel has a right of retention and lien over the luggage and belongings of the GUEST. These rights will be enforced in the event of the GUEST's failure to fulfill their obligations. In such cases, the HOTEL may retain the mentioned items for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of noncompliance. After this period, the HOTEL may freely dispose of the pledged items and use the proceeds to cover outstanding obligations, including interest and an additional 20% for costs and expenses.
D) If the Hotel is unable to fulfill a confirmed written reservation, provided there has been prepayment or an early termination of an agreed lodging period, it must arrange for the GUEST's accommodation in another establishment of a similar rate. If the replacement hotel's rate is lower, the Hotel will refund the difference to the GUEST, and if higher, the HOTEL will cover the additional cost.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE GUEST:
A) The Guest acknowledges the rates, fees, and prices of the HOTEL and accepts that these may change without prior notice.
B) The Guest agrees to pay the full amount in cash at the time the respective service is provided or, in any case, upon ending their stay at the HOTEL. The hotel day consists of 24 hours of stay starting from the check-in time set by the HOTEL. Partial use of the hotel day requires full payment of the rate.
C) The Guest will be liable for even slight negligence regarding their obligations and those of their companions. Any unregistered person using accommodations exclusively reserved for the GUEST must register and pay a 100% surcharge on the current rate.
D) The Guest must behave appropriately and dress suitably. The Hotel may refuse to provide services if the GUEST's behavior or attire is deemed inappropriate.
E) The Guest acknowledges that engaging in sports, physical exercises, operating vehicles or equipment, or any activity involving risk implies that they have the skills and knowledge to undertake such risks. The GUEST accepts full responsibility for any injury or damage and expressly exempts the Hotel from liability.
F) The Guest agrees to use the HOTEL's furniture, equipment, and facilities appropriately, maintaining them in their current condition. The GUEST will be responsible for any total or partial damage caused to the HOTEL's property and will be charged the price set by the HOTEL, plus a 50% penalty or fine.
G) The Guest acknowledges the HOTEL Manager's authority in case of disputes and the right of inspection by HOTEL staff to ensure the proper use of accommodations and common areas. This includes the right to access or inspect rooms if deemed necessary by the Manager. The GUEST must comply with the rules and policies set by the HOTEL and allow access to staff for routine room maintenance.
TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT:
The lodging contract ends:
A) Upon the expiration of the agreed fixed term.
B) Due to noncompliance with any obligations by either party. The GUEST's noncompliance does not exempt them from paying the full agreed rate for the term.
C) When the contract is established on a day-to-day basis without a specified term on the hotel registration card, it ends at the expiration of the hotel day as per the contract.
D) For fixed-term contracts, upon the term's expiration, the Hotel may reclaim the room. In cases of early termination, the GUEST must pay the full rate for the agreed term unless there are reasonable grounds (e.g., family emergencies, illness, or flight issues) determined at the HOTEL's discretion.
DISPUTES OVER TERMINATION:
If there is disagreement between the GUEST and the HOTEL regarding contract termination, the Hotel will suspend services and take necessary measures to ensure the GUEST has access to their luggage and belongings or transfer them to a secure storage facility without assuming liability.
PROOF OF THE CONTRACT:
The lodging contract is evidenced by the hotel registration card issued by the Hotel and signed by the GUEST, indicating their agreement to the stipulations herein. The GUEST explicitly agrees that the amount stated on the invoice constitutes an enforceable debt.
INSURANCE:
To cover risks affecting the GUEST and their belongings, the Hotel offers a hotel insurance policy. If the GUEST opts for this insurance, they must pay the daily premium, which will be added to the lodging invoice. In the event of a claim, the HOTEL's liability is limited to the insurance coverage. If the GUEST declines this insurance, they assume all risks covered by the policy and waive any claims against the Hotel in case of loss or damage. The insurance is voluntary.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS:
Unless the GUEST formally entrusts valuables to the Hotel, the HOTEL is not liable for any loss. Valuable items such as jewelry, cameras, money, or equipment left in rooms or service areas not designated for safekeeping remain at the GUEST's sole risk, and the Hotel assumes no responsibility.
WARNING:
In compliance with Article 17 of Law 679 of 2001, the Hotel warns that the exploitation and sexual abuse of minors in the country are subject to criminal and civil penalties.
PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICY:
In accordance with Statutory Law 1581 of 2012 on Data Protection and related regulations, the GUEST consents and authorizes their personal data to be included in a database managed by the Hotel.
